New cell service, now I get exclamation points!!!

Hi,

New to your forum, neophyte with smartphones. In the past they just worked. Recently I switched my cell provider and now I am having issues. Specifically, I see an exclamation point with my signal strength icon and the same with my WiFi icon. I never had that before. All I know is I cannot make a call when I see that icon with the signal strength. Even though signal strength is good.

Is this something to do with roaming or the new cell provider?

Welcome to Android Central! Which carrier did you switch from, and which one are you currently on? Was your G3 purchased from the previous carrier, or did you get it unlocked from somewhere else?
