New color for GSIII- Garnet Red!!

Garnet Red AT&T Galaxy S III preorders start July 15, in stores July 29 | Android Central




AC is reporting that the New color for the GSIII, Garnet Red, is starting to take pre-orders on AT&T on July 15 and the phone will be in stores on the 29th. How many people on this forum are waiting for this color? My favorite color is red, and I would love this version. But I have the Pebble Blue 16GB Verizon version. I will live with that. What about you guys?

If it were on Sprint my wife would love it, but we are not switching carriers over phone color.

I like the red but I am fine with my white phone. I could easily exchange it but I am not as picky as some others seem to be about the color. Besides with a TPU case on it there really isn't a lot of the phone base color to see.

I wanted the red, but when they failes to give an ETA when the white and blue launched, I couldn't wait andpicked up a blue one. Mine will be covered with a case anyway, but I wish they had red on launch day. I just couldn't wait.

I actually think the garnet red color is very cool and am glad I didn't pull the trigger on the white or blue. Am going to wait until they release it so I can get one from Amazon and save the $100 I'd have to shell out to ATT and the state of CA! Since one of the big advantages of Andriod is being able to be unique on how you customize your phone, why not also have a unique color too! And yes, a good case may cover up the color, but there are clear cases out there too

I am truly amazed! Is this the first time (with the exception of a phone like Doro) that a phone has not come out in black? Not so sure about red on such a big phone.

I think it looks really cool, i love red, i would have bought this if it has been available on launch day. But it was not and I already have a SG3 in pebble blue, so oh well.

I'm shocked that the color isn't available on Verizon's considering their nickname is Big Red.

Davidjacobs.. nice pics, thanks. The deep color rather than fire engine red looks great and I think it gives the phone a more premium look since the silver color trim is set off by the red. Can't wait to get mine when they're available

Rock and Roll GS3!!

How does getting from Amazon save $100? I know no sales tax (if that is applicable here), but current cost of GS3 at Amazon, AT&T store and Best Buy all seemed $199 for upgrade.

I'll also probably get Red. I was not too impressed by the Pebble Blue, and white is too plain for me. I won't get until middle of August anyway, so the timing is fine.

I must be odd I think it looks good. I wouldn't trade my pebble blue for it but I think it looks good.

Pebble blue looks the best in my opinion. My friend has a white one and he even said he liked the blue one better.
