NEW contacts on my PC sync with my LG V30 Android, but not vice versa

Edits to OLD contacts on both my LG V30 Android phone and my PC sync fine with each other. But when I enter a NEW contact, it syncs only one way -- from my PC to my Android phone. Weirdly, it does not sync to my PC if I enter it on my phone.

Checking the basics...

When creating the contact on the phone, make sure you have the entry set to save to Google, not save to the phone.

Joe - Great, that fixed it on a contact-by-contact basis! I picked my Gmail address on the drop-down menu in doing an edit of the contact that failed to appear on my PC, and now it does.



But is there a way to set my phone's preferences so that all conact entries I make, globally, are saved to Google?

On my V30, it seems to remember the last used storage location (Google).
That said, the dropdown list is alphabetical and my google email is at the top alphabetically.
