Hi my name is Pat and I just got a Galaxy S3 as a conversion from an iPhone. All I can say is that in a short time, I never want to go back! The only things I miss from my old phoen aren't even stock features, but jailbreak upgrades. I'm hoping chompsms supports quick compose with different buttons soon, as I got Executive Assistant which was similar to my old Lockinfo. I just find it funny how my friends on iPhones say I will tgo back, until they see my phone as make comments like "Wow, I don't even like Andriod and I love your phone." "I can't wait to get my jailbeak so I can do this!" Hope to keep my excitement level up for Android, and can't wait to see what other cool things I find!

Sweet. I'm moving to the Galaxy S3 also as soon as I can get it in store. I'm also moving from the 4S. I love iOS & still have an iPad, but I'm ready for a bigger phone.

I was an early adopter to the iPhone and owned two of them before switching to Android. I've used Android for a year now and I don't see anything that would make me ever go back. I remember the days when Apple wouldn't let you put apps on the phone, but icons that loaded web pages for the app. In Remember the Milk task manager, for example, you tapped it and it took you to a web page where you managed your tasks. Keep in mind this was before 3G and the process was slow as mud. I also remember Apple not allowing calendar and task developers to use the phone's clock and alarm system. Push alarms were sent out from the developer's server and they could be hit or miss.

What Android has done is force Apple to stay somewhat in the ballpark. Because Android had apps Apple grudgingly allowed them. And the same with notifications in IOS 5, except they still don't work as well as Android's. I love Google voice commands and dictating texts and emails, not to mention directions and getting turn by turn voice directions in return. I jail broke my last iPhone and although it improved things a great deal the Android I have not is still years ahead. Competition is good, but it seems that Apple isn't even trying to keep up anymore. At least Windows 8 promises to give Android some real competition.
