New CyanogenMod 6 Camcorder

So, I just downloaded the new Incredible ROM from Cyanogen. With the source code being released, I guess I just expected a ROM with the camcorder working without having to update my radio version. However, it's not working lol. So, assuming I need the 2.x radio upgrade, do I still need to unroot, upgrade radio, the root again? Or is their an easier way now? I saw there was a Froyo radio d/l on CyanogenMod.com for the N1. Wondering if there was one for the Incredible?

I think you can update radios now if you used unrevoked forever without unrooting and all that jazz that you had to do before. Not %100 positive though.

I have the updated radio, and CM6 Test 8 still doesn't work with the camcorder.


Luckly, Koush released CM6 RC 3 for the DInc. Everything seems to be working perfectly for me; very happy with this release.

As for the radio, I have no idea. I haven't been on for a while, so I'd be interested in that as well, since I still haven't used Unrevoked Forever...

Skyraider vanilla everything is working and has been for a few days now. It has nothing to do with the ROM and everything to do with the radio. With unRevoked Forever you can flash that radio without rolling back etc, since it doesn't do a signature check with s-off. Keep in mind though that s-off isn't reversible at this time, not that Verizon would even know how to check it or would check it. Especially considering that one of my wife's replacement eris's came "factory reconditioned / like new device" with the leaked version of 2.1 on it.......(that's one of the reasons they upped her to a moto droid!)

Thanks for the input all. I've decided to just quit being lazy(now that I don't have to unroot, flash radio, root again. lol) and grab unrevoked forever. Then I'll be able to flash radios This really is the perfect thing for me!

I was never able to get scores like yours with SkyRaider. I've been checking out Cyanogen RC3 today and have been amazed by the performance - I finally saw scores like yours. I'm also giving ADW a try. Still think I like LauncherPro better but I'll give it a week.

Linpack scores in the upper 30s and Quadrant running over 1200...life is good!

I'm pulling consistant 34-37's with linpack and my last quadrant was 1149 on the stock kernel. Haven't tested any OC'd kernels yet, that's the next thing on my list.

From everyone I've talked with they are all scoring that high. You should be in the 30's in linpack. Remember however that quadrant is a mixed score, if I was to put a class 10 SD card into my phone it would probably shoot an incredible into the 1800's. So if you are only running for instance a class 2 you will ALWAYS score lower than someone running a class 4 or 6 card.
