New Evo Shift ordered

Hi all, big time lurker! I finally ordered an Evo Shift today on the Everything Data Family plan along with a LG Optimus S for Mrs. Anonymark and a Samsung Intercept and LG Rumor Touch (I know I know) for the Ms. Jr's.

Thanks to all the great advice I have gotten here, I'm looking forward to coming over to Android and Sprint from my old Iphone 3g...

Off to the Evo Shift section....

Forgot to add, I made the switch now to avoid the new $10 smartphone fee on Sprint starting 1-30-2011. I guess that is good for Sprint for anybody that was thinking of switching.

I just got the Shift myself as well, but I couldn't avoid the premium data fee. I've never heard of this start date for the fee, I thought it was in place since the debut of Sprint's 4G. Maybe it's for new customers only?

Sorry, Guess I should have been clearer. I'm paying the $10 "4g" premium data fee for the Shift no matter what, but, I'd be paying it on the other 3 "smart" phones if I activated the plan after 1-30-2011. This saves me $30 a month for 2 years. Sprint is still cheaper for what I want than the other 2 carriers (ATT and Verizon), but it does put them a little less expensive.
