New Facebook notification

This morning I woke up to find a notification from Facebook in my notification bar that has never appeared there before. I don't have any Facebook apps installed and never have installed any. I use the mobile site and get all notifications as an email.

This notification was an actual blue square with the white F. When I opened the notification, it opened a chat style application with the originating message in a chat bubble at the top of the page and chat bubbles for each person who has replied to it. This is a direct message through Facebook that I have recieved before, but it always came in the form of an email notification and made me open the mobile site to view it.

I checked all of my apps to make sure nothing was pushed and forced to install. Happen to anyone else?

The Stock app doesnt do wall notifications, it only notifies you of messages in your inbox in Facebook. This is the normal 'message notification' icon. The message you opened should appear in your inbox and it just does the bubbles because android defaults everything to a 'conversation style' bubble message.

I'm having issues with my FB on my X. I cannot view wall posts when I go into the full site off my phone, as well my FB is not updating right on the mobile page. I think I need to remove the app and download it again. To the OP, I got that notification once but have not got another one.
