In setting>apps>3 dot's upper right corner tap>special access>scroll to the bottom to turn screen on I remember some members having issues with text not waking screen up make sure they are toggle on here , just a heads up .Screenshot_20221207_205119_Settings.jpg

This is good info. I'll save this to my Samsung Notes for future reference should the need arise.
Thanks for sharing!

So is this supposed to turn the screen on to show you a new notification briefly on the lock screen?

I've been using an app called Glimpse Notifications for years to do this. Could this new feature replace that app?

Still waiting on UI 5 for my S20 FE.

No not to replace those apps but its a new feature so dont entirely what it does but looks like supposed to.

Thanks for the info I have it checked but it still doesn't wake up screen, and double checked all the other settings, I'm using the default messaging app with Samsung

You try resetting the Samsung message app?

I just cleaned the cache, should I clear data too? I won't lose anything if I do that will I?
