After being on carrier phones for so long, whenever I see updates, this is me: Hansel.png

I just installed it this morning. I have had a lot of battery use going to the AndroidOS, and according to GSAM specifically the kernel. Hopefully this gets addressed.

I've had that AndroidOS battery drain since I got the device. It doesn't seem to hurt battery life too much I'm getting over 4 hours SOT a day and it's lasting me till the end of the day, so I try to ignore it.
We'll see if it gets any worse or better after a day or so, can't tell anything when we've only had it installed a few hours.
it could be the battery drain while it was upgrading apps on first boot.

I did see that on Monday when I first got the device, but the high OS drain was still there last night. I don't pay attention to SOT, but I know it wasn't anywhere near 4 hours.

Just installed. I don't expect to see a change to the Android OS drain until/if we get 5.1.1, but we'll see. Been getting 3-4 hours screen on, with heavy Kindle app usage and I'm used to carrying an external battery because N5, so even though it's only a little better than the N5, at least it's not worse.

I only get 4 hours by never using WiFi. I have unlimited data and turning on wifi even for just a few minutes seems to lead to bad battery life all day for me. It's an old 5.0 bug that still lingers on this device it seems. I do hope they at least give us an OTA to 5.1.1 at some point.
That Wifi drain and android OS is my only complaint about this device.

I have a pebble connected and have used it a bit today. Pretty low on the average spectrum, but my Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both on and connected. I'm getting great battery life after the update. I didn't even restart after it.

Moved the OS to the latest version yesterday morning.

When I initially got this phone SIM1 was always shown in green.
Within hours the phone received 2 firmware updates the SIM1 indicator went to white.
After the latest it's back to green with a slightly better connection.

Anyone else seeing this?

Yep I noticed that too, bummer I actually preferred both Sims white. But not the end of the world

I didn't notice the sim color but I'm pretty sure I have a stronger (lower db) connection.

Anyone else's phone been crashing/rebooting since this latest update? Mine has probably done it 3-4 times since I updated.

Mine rebooted once since the update but I've had a bunch of new crashes as well.

No crashes here, though the model I have is unusual, 4GB ram, 32GB onboard, and the 1.8Ghz processor.
