When I connected the Bionic to my PC by USB I added a couple of folders and have a lot of files in those folders. These "new" folders do not show up if I look with the Android Assistant file manager nor do they show up with Astro File Manager. They show up fine if I use the built in file manager with Bionic and they show up fine in Windows Explorer when connected by USB.

Does everyone else that has a Bionic have this problem. If not how do I get around the ssue since I would like to use Astro File Manager.

My Bionic is not rooted

did you put the files on sd or sd/ext? if they are on sd/ext, when you open astro you are automatically looking at sd. you need to hit the up arrow at the top of the screen then open the sdcard-ext folder.

Well you have helped me. I found the folders on sdcard-ext, so thanks. What is sdcard-ext versus sdcard?
When I click on "home" in Astro it defauts to /mnt/sdcard but when I ckick on sdcard-ext it defaults to /mnt/sdcard-ext.

Is sdcard the built in memory on the the Bionic? I would have thought sdcard was the card I installed on phone.

you are correct. the sd card is the internal memory and sd-ext is the removable card and that's where you want music/video, etc. to be stored.
