New Galaxy S5 charger??

I was watching android central's video of the GS5...IS THERE A NEW CHARGER??? Looks like it to me. Apple made that mistake, I hope Samsung didn't do the same thing!

Are you talking about the way the charging port looks? If so, there is a port cover now due to the waterproof certification. Same micro usb in there.

Its a USB 3.0. It's backwards compatible with a USB 2.0 cable (Nexus, all other Galaxy S devices, Motorola etc.). If you have a computer with a Blue port, you can connect the USB 3.0 connector for fast transfer

Actually underneath the cover is a USB 3.0 port, backwards compatible with micro USB (2.0). Your old micro USB charger will still work.

Like other's have said, it is a micro USB 3.0 port. It is backword compatible with micro USB 2.0, but micro USB 3.0 can charge faster than 2.0, so there is some benefit to using a 3.0 cable instead of a 2.0.

Hopefully by mistake u mean upgrade? But it is a USB 3.0 same as the note 3
