New Galaxy S8 + owner. A few Q's.

I just got this awsome phone and I have a few Q's.

1. When I go to THEMES (by long pressing screen) the only themes that appear are the themes from my old Galaxy Note 5.

None of the themes I DL'd from the Samsung store, Play store etc appear.

For instance I DL'd a theme titled "SaturNday", but it doest appear.

The themes I just purchased do appear if I go to Settings->Wallpaper & Themes.

So, why don't all of my themes appear in all "Themes" menu locations?

2. When I apply any theme, even themes bought from the samsung store, the icons don't change.


3. When I go to the AOD's tab in the "Themes & Wallpaper", page the only items that appear are my static wallpapers.

The AOD living wallpaper I just bought doesn't appear.

However, if I click on the 3 dots in the upper right and choose "My page", they all appear.

4. I've gone through all of the Bixby setup, but I can't figure out the command to unlock and open the main screen.

I sure I'LL have more Q's as I get ddeeper into this amazing phone.

1. Same experience as me. I think some themes aren't compatible with the s8. They might need to be updated or modified. You can search for any themes that you might be missing in the theme store.
2. Are you running a third party launcher? If so the icons don't change.

3. Don't know. I avoid Bixby.

Your not seeing your themes in the Samsung theme app? You have to download them again. When in Samsung themes, click the themes at bottom, then click the three dots top right screen, then my page, then purchased. You can download them from there again.

Maybe I misunderstood your question, hopefully this helps.
