New Gmail account?

I need to replace my current e-mail account with a new one, will that screw up my phone or current settings? I have a issue and I can't seem to stop a person from e-mailing me and I cannot seem to find a way to spam her or block the messages? Thanks

I believe the only way to change your gmail sync account is to factory reset your phone. I copied my email contacts to a new gmail account and synced to the new account when I ODINed to FROYO.

just add account under settings>accounts and sync
and tap on the old account and there should be an option to remove that account
I've never done it, but I don't see why you couldn't just do it this way

if you have purchaced any apps on the market you will have to repurchace them.
