What version is everyone using for the new play services? The criteria changed for how to tell what version. Did anyone get the update yet? If so, could you please share your version number? Thank you!

I sideloaded 238 on my N6 with lollipop, I didn't get any of the new stuff though. No crashes yet!

The new version being pushed is 8.1. It includes support for Android Pay.

I sideloaded that ver, and did not get any Android pay screens. Maybe because I have GW already installed. Idk

It'll be an extra feature and you'll need to select Google Wallet or Android Pay but I think it's not completely functional yet, and you need a phone that comes with NFC. I'll try to find the change log later and post it here.

Yea its not working on my N6, weird. Maybe it'll show up later, or after some kind of server side flick of the switch

My phone's still on one of the 7.8.99 versions. Since everything's working fine at present, I'm all for letting Google police its own sometimes PITA "app."

A newer one has just been released ending in 230. I always used 430 prior to the new format. Some nexus users have reported their device being auto pushed this 230 version. Any try it out yet?
