New Google Search Update - Google Now Not Working Like Before

I used to be able to say remind me to do whatever (take out the trash) when I get home. Or email so and so when I get to work. It shows in my regular places where I work and live accurately, but google now seems not to know anymore. I have everything enabled in the Google Now settings. I can call out the address and it will remind me, but it seems weird that it doesn't work like it used to. I'm sure I'm missing something dead obvious, but any help is appreciated.

The update has not pushed to my phone yet but that sucks. I use the remind feature a lot.

You're not missing anything. The update to lollipop has sucked big time for the moto x 2014. I've been experiencing the sane thing to. The moto voice and assist are showing some problems but many people have told me that a factory reset squashes most of the bugs....I just didn't have the guts to do it. You can try it though.....
