New Google update is concerning

So I went to google search something tonight and before it allowed me to access the app I got this notice.

This seems a little concerning from a data mining and privacy standpoint. Is this an old update? Or did other users get this?

I went to the Google Search App in the Play Store to see when the app was last updated. The Google Search App was updated on January 12. Is this the first time you used the app since it was updated? This is the screen you get when you use it for the FIRST time. I just checked and I get the same thing you did. It was my first time using the app. I don't use it for searches. I wouldn't be concerned with it..but if yoou are...you can go ahead and choose "Skip" if you want. You will still be able to use the app without all the things you are concerned with. I hope I was of some help for you.

@Lok - I wouldn't worry about it unless you really don't like them knowing what you search and stuff. As Greg said you can hit "Skip" if you are worried.
