.. and to Android.
Coming from the walled garden that is iOs.
Although that didn't stop me from jailbreaking and doing most of what I wanted to with it.

I just got a G S3 on Sprint and will probably be spending a lot of time over in that forum.
It's nice to have a fresh GUI and an open source OS. :)

I'm not a coder, just want to use it to its potential and strip some of the bloatware.
For the moment I'm happy finding my way around TW.

This looks like a friendly place.
Thanks everyone for sharing.

Welcome! How does it feel to be in the fresh air? I still remember the day when I left iOS...it was magical. :p

Welcome to AndroidCentral! Hope you are finding your way around the site and making good use of the GS4 forum. There are a lot of great people on this forum so don't hesitate asking questions.

Welcome to Android and the forums!
I also have an S3 from Sprint, so any questions, throw 'em at me.

I appreciate the welcomes!

If I could get around my netbook issues I'd have it rooted already.

Like what issues?
The screen is only 600 pixels high.
The bundled version of Odin has the start button at the bottom and no way to scroll down.

I used Odin3 V1.85. (the start button is at the top)
I had already loaded the .zip on my external SD and the .tar on my computer.
It took all of 5 minutes.
LOL!!!

Coming from an iPhone this is TOO easy. :D
A big THANKS to Skunkape for his bundle.
Now to nandroid and Ti Backup before I start to play.
