man i had a crash a couple of hours after trying this kernel. I wonder if it was a fluke or not.

Did you read the information on what rom is supported by the kernel because there is one that is for the new MR4 roms, did you make sure you got the one for the rom you are using... Its working fine on Eternity R230 3.5 ROM, haven't had no issues..
