New iPads and Insurance

I may purchased 2 mini iPads from VZW for my daughters for Christmas. Should I take the insurance through VZW or should I sign up for Apple Care? Any pros or cons over each other?

This forum is for Android phones and tablets. You might want to try iPhone, iPad, iPod Forums at iMore for more specific information. (From what I know, Apple Care is better, but I don't own any Apple products. The people posting there would have experience with them, VZW and anything else available for iThings.

I think the Apple Care is cheaper but won't cover lost/stolen.

You're best bet is to jump over to the other website as suggested since few people on here use Apple products.

Or you could ask Verizon what it costs to insure and what it covers and ask Apple the same. I know when I worked for Verizon a few years back a number of customers picked Apple Care over our insurance plan but I don't recall the details of both plans and it's likely they've changed since.

Thank you both. I have a Note 9 (not an Apple fan) but my kids wanted these.

I went with Apple Care. It will also cover the pencil if you get one.
