New Keyboard

I find the JB keyboard harder to use than the ICD keyboard. Perhaps you can help me learn this better.
1 - How can you close the keyboard? With ICD there was an icon to close it, now I do not see it.
2 - To me they made getting the voice command a bit harder.
Any other hints for this?

You can always press back to exit the keyboard, or pressing the down arrow that replaces the back on-screen button when the keyboard is up on devices with on-screen navigation buttons. (Nexus, tablets, or otherwise)

I don't see the problem with voice commands. They work perfectly fine for me.
