New keyboard?

so I realky like the layout of the swype keyboard but like the android keyboards look better, but I noticed that after flashing jt's super clean ROM and the stupid fast kernal the characters no longer pop up when pressing the keys. Ive tried better keyboard and didnt really like it because it took up too much space. So my question is, does anyone have anyother suggestions for what keyboard to test drive next
