I've been working on getting everything reinstalled on this new leak. Finally getting close to finished! I'm looking forward to seeing how well it performs, p3droid was talking it up pretty big on twitter. Somewhat sad that our leak is 2.3.5 when 2.3.7 is current, but it is better than the Froyo it is currently stuck on :/

i think 2.3.6 & 2.3.7 are specific to the Nexus S?

i downloaded last night from TBH - debloating myself as the EP1W debloat was kinda wonky - even though i really loved TW4.5...maybe i'll get adventurous and try and install that myself later.

i'll report back once i debloat, calibrate the batt. and get a days worth in.

I flashed the debloated EP3 a couple hours ago. It seems really nice and fast. The only minor problem I found so far is that the setup wizard doesn't work and does a force close. GPS seems to lock in under 30 seconds which is much improved compared to the 5 minutes or more it used to take. Also the screen will glow when you reach the end of a scrollable page-pretty cool. I'll report back if anything interesting pops up.

I just visited the Market for a tethering app for root users. They've taken away the download button and replaced it with a yellow warning sign saying that the app is not available for verizon phones.

Verizon has from what I've read in the past sstarted to send bills to those who use tethering.. they can track you easy.. i suggest using PDA.net.. you simply attach the laptop to yer ph and walla yer lap top uses the ph's modem..
i've tried it and it works well.. Verizon can not track thru PDA as to data usage's etc..

PDA works rooted or not rooted.. eaither way is ok..
