New leaks/rumors

Still using my royal blue Note10+ with clear case.

Bet that's dope!

I have the most boring colored looking device on the planet with my Note 10+... The aura black. It's really more like gray.
I wish I had the aura glow color.

That said, I really don't know what to believe in regards to the S22 "Ultra," any longer as something new comes out about it every day. I don't think it really matters at this point whether it's called the Note or not, because that's basically what it is. It would be nice to see Samsung not abandoning the "Note," name altogether though. I think they should just keep the standard S22/S22+ and then the most feature packed device should be the Note S22 Ultra or something to that regard.

It's not going to make me want to purchase it though lol Samsung continually dropping features from their devices makes me just want to hold on to my Note 10+ til it dies or isn't supported anymore. Bad enough they took away the headphone jack with it, now micro SD card support is gone and will probably be the case with this device as well. That's a deal breaker for me.

Won't matter to me. They can call it whatever. I won't be buying it. No SD card. I will use my note 20 as long as I can.

There hasn't been any confirmation to say no SD on the Ultra. Just speculation because this years S21 models don't.

I look at the S22U and see not a phone that follows any current S-series design language/elements.

What I see (and I'm guessing) is what was probably the Note 21 Ultra that got shelved and when they decided to move the phone to the S-line got updated with a bump in camera and processor and re-rebadged to S22 Ultra to save dev costs.

So until I hear otherwise, I'll be optimistic that because the S22U is a warmed over N21U, it will have the SD slot.

If they keep the S-Pen for the S23... then I see a total re-design to follow the S design language. But I think they instead of doing that they'll kill the silo.

February will come quickly. We'll find out more info pretty soon.

Yeah it's confirmed Note22 Ultra, only that one will have the SPen the others won't.

Nothing is confirmed until unpacked day. Rumors keep going back and forth on the name. Doesn't matter to me. The could call it S22 braunschweiger and it wouldn't matter as long as it looks like a "note" and acts like a "note" as we previously new it.

If its a Note 22 ultra then definitely trading my Note 20u for it .

When i say it was confirmed, meaning it's actually a Note22 Ultra with the Named changed to S22 Ultra, So they can call it S22 Ultra but it's actually a Note22 Ultra, it's going to be the only one with a SPEN the rest won't have a SPEN, just because it's now called a S22 Ultra or what ever they decide to call it, It's really still a Note22 Ultra. And it looks identical to the Note20 Ultra.

But deep down you have to know it looks like a pure Note by design and just re-badged Note 21 that they killed and now using for next year with the standard updates(at least seems to me).

The next one after that... I expect to follow the true S design language and be nothing like the Note line. I rather have this one coming up than a real S Ultra the following year.

But there is no real rush and can wait until same time next year to see what happens with the S23 and then decide on the S22U.

Exactly doesn't matter what they call it, It's still the Note22 Ultra with a different name.

No , i made up my mind after my s10 that wouldn't get S series anymore, either Note or Fold device from Samsung.

What if its the S22 Note? Still has the S. And i don't know anything about the manufacturing, but shipping day is less than 2 months away. I would assume the phones are being built, or at least the parts are staged. So no matter what they call it the hardware and software has been accounted for. To each their own, though. If the name is that important I hope for your sake they name it a note and leave off the S. Wouldn't want t you to miss out.

Yeah im fine with it being called that

Don't care what is called. But if the photos are true to the design, the part I'm looking is that there is no more camera hump on the Note model. Looks like the individual lenses still protrude a small amount, but at least if I case it, it should have a flat back. This is important if inking on a flat surface. The N20U with the off-center hump is wobbly in this scenario. I went through a number of cases to eliminate this problem and settled on a thicker Spigen case. I'd like to go back to using as thin a case as possible.
