New M8 User - Need Advice... 😞

Hi all. Wondering what the best, free anti spy/virus app to use for my new M8. Seems like something's really slowing my phone down all of a sudden whenever I try to type anything. Only had this new M8 for a few days and worked fine until I transferred all my stuff from my old HTC One-X. Any advice/help is and will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Avast Mobile Security & Antivirus, AVG AntiVirus Security, Avira Antivirus Security and Kaspersky Internet Security are all good. (Choose only 1, of course.) You should also be running AdWare and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Schedule each, the antivirus, Adware and Malwarebytes, to run on different nights. (They will slow your phone down when doing a full scan, so let them run when you're sleeping.)

I don't think you need any of these apps. It sounds like it went wrong when you installed a backup from a different phone. That's a software glitch. If I were you I would do a factory reset and not install the backup, just start fresh with a new phone. You can put all your photos in the cloud and have all your contacts with Google. Most things can be backed up, but I think installing a system type backup is a mistake
