Hello Folks.
I am a 59 y/o woman who spent 30 years in the IT industry, programming and upper level tech support. I'm happy to be part of the forum.
I just got my Android phone, the LG MyTouch Q C800, finally going to "the dark side" after being a Blackberry user. I have an HP TouchPad, which uses WebOS, and before my BlackBerry, I used to have a Palm Pre phone. I can't remember the model, since it was about 4-5 years ago.
I use T-Mobile, since they seem to be the best provider in the DFW metroplex. I was gratified that AT&T was not able to swallow this company.
I'm interested in what you people have to say, what you've discovered, giving legitimate honest reviews of the plethora of android devices out there. (Legitimate = specifics, rather than the simple "It sucks")
I am particularly interested in how to successfully root my phone, and to be able to restore it to factory specs should I have the need to do that.
Thanks everyone for being here.
Keltie
