Question 1: So some of the things I don't like is that you can't swap the SIM and use a different device unless you notify Metro. A little inconvenient especially if you like to switch between devices. Are there any other ways around this?

Question 2: Also (probably not a place to ask this) is there any other way to "hack" and get mobile hotspot? I have the $50 unlimited plan but doesn't include hotspot.

Question 3: How's your experience so far with Metro? Speeds are pretty fast in my experience but I haven't used it too much to know about coverage and throttling.

First off I'm not a metro pcs user ( I'm on t- mobile, virtually the same service ) but I have family and friends that use metro pcs as their providers.

To answer your first question regarding using metro on different devices with the Sim card provided by them. The short answer is YES - from my personal experience as long as the device you're planning to use is unlocked and uses the same type/size card - everything should work just fine. I personally use an unlocked phone that was purchased from Amazon and all the features like wifi calling, hotspot tethering, etc works perfectly fine in my unlocked device with my T-Mobile SIM card .

To answer your 2nd question regarding hotspot tethering without having a plan that offers you to do so.

My answer to this question is:

Do some researching - Google or any type of search engine you prefer to use should be able to help you out.

To answer your 3rd question regarding service of metro. I personally don't use metro but I'm T-Mobile and in my area it works good for me. I have a friend that lives not to far from me and my friend likes the service and coverage it provides him. I guess it really depends from person to person or location on how good service coverage but no complaints from anyone I know that use metro pcs in my area (San Diego, CA). As for throttling unless you use a grip of data ( one my friends uses about 40 - 50gb a month ) He tells me he doesn't really notice any major speed reduction but of course that depends from person to person as well.

1. You have to call metro if you want to put the sim in a different phone every time. It is not like T-mobile where you can switch and it is instantly connected. I don't like it either.

2. I have the same plan but don't use the hotspot at all. Google.

3. I had T-Mobile before Metro and the service to me is the same. From work to home, I haven't seen any differences.YMMV

I'm only going to answer the second question. That is wrong against the terms and conditions and compute complete and utter abused to the network so anyone here the tells you how to do it should be banned. It is basically the same thing as going to a buffet but feeding the whole restaurant on your tab. If you want hotspot you during well should pay for it its only $10 more per month. That's why I hate a limited data and think it should go away because people of use it. Other than that MetroPCS is a great company and you shouldn't have any Manchester thing about calling them since which devices is really dumb.
