New Motorola Tablet

This little rumor appeared on Gizmodo today with a few more alleged details of the successor to the Xoom. It claims the new one with have a 4:3 aspect ratio, Google's Ice Cream and a high resolution display. Unlike the other rumors which claim a fall release however, this one supposedly is planned for release early next year. What do you think?

This seems plausible, since there are rumors about a high res iPad coming out. Seems like HR screens will be the next "must have" feature--along with 4G.

I like the idea of a higher resolution screen, but the 4:3 aspect ratio at 10" is going to look too much like an iPad, and it might even be bigger overall. I'd rather see the 8.9" form factor gain some traction. I'd also like to see something in 7" from Motorola. Right now, HTC is the only company producing a quality 7" tablet.

I agree. I think the aspect ratio on the Xoom is better for watching movies.

I agree as well. 16:9 is pretty standard at this point... high-res is good, 4:3 is disappointing. I'll stick with my Xoom a bit longer I think

now that LTE upgrade is around the corner, I don't really care. I love my Xoom and LTE would make it a perfect tablet. I'm planning to dash mount so I can use it as GPS and entertainment device in my car.
