Android Police has benchmark results. The new N7 essentially performs like an improved Nexus 4, but runs a little behind phones like the HTC One (not surprising given the latter's Snapdragon 600 chip vs. the N7's S4 Pro). Graphic performance is good, as both the 600 and the S4 Pro run the same GPU. I would have liked to have seen a 600 in the new N7 (an 800 was likely out of the question at this price point), but given my satisfaction with the N4's performance I'm not disappointed. Biggest question for me now is the battery life.

I think I may hold off to see how the LTE version works and how the GPU copes with the higher resolution screen.
