NEW New new GB Leak (2.11)

Wish they would actually note what changes are made compared to the last leak...

Nobody actually knows besides htc. A leak is a leak because the consumers have software they're not supposed to. So the only way to know is to let them nonrooters flash the ruu and see what they complain about/like :)

Haha. Man I'm getting tired of reconfiguring and rooting my phone each time a new one comes out. Its like a second job.

Correct, I do not have time for this crap either, I work and go the gym and then cook. :) And take care of the kids.

Boy this is feeling like the Droid X leak situation, they had a new one every few days... I am happy with Uber BAMF for now until things get more consistant..

As for reconfiguring, why don't you use Titanium Backup, loading a new rom and restore all personal info only takes me 45 minutes.. Guess you can say I got it down to a art.. :D

haha, finally broke down and installed 2.10 last night. Not sure if I want to try another one this quickly.

Just letting everyone know that adrynalyne went through this leak and says there's really minor changes. Probably not worth flashing this new leak, just thought I'd put it out there

I made a patch. No need to wipe or reconfigure. It really is minor. I included a crap ton of apps, but thats because I wasnt going to spend hours to separate what was a true change, and what was an androidmanifest.xml version change.

But I assure you, if you flash the patch, you will have true 2.11.605.0.

Sorry if this is a n00b question but I'm running cm7 which i thought was gingerbread based, how much does the official release matter if i'm always using a custom rom? will cm7 change at all? what should i expect?

All we have to do is flash it like normal and it updates it? Correct?

CM7 isn't at all related to these Sense based RUU's coming out, so dont expect a huge change here. The changes will be in the sense based roms.

So far, I am pleased. Full RUU and rooted and self de-bloated. Now making a CWR for safe keeping. :)

I agree. There are times I think of such, but at least there is a choice. I hope a cleaner ROM comes out each time. I can live with a few glitches to have the ability to control my phone. Like CPU settings, somewhat battery life and other aspects of coolness. The plain Jane GB is just that plain. If I lose major functionality then that is another thing...
