New nexus 6 only on 5.0

Hi folks. Got my nexus 6 from Amazon uk today. I am using it with a three network sim. I am surprised the phone is not on 5.01 yet. Will it take a few days to come through? Hoping 5.1 comes out soon too.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like the easiest would be to unlock and do the flash recovery. I don't fancy messing around with my phone only being a day old. So I guess I will just have to wait. Not sure why an update isn't appearing though. Mine ins just an unlocked uk version. I noticed it was built towards the end of January and is on mdm9625_104335.118.02.55.03r lrx210

I think you have only a matter of days before you will get it. I have an unlocked N6 in the UK and got 5.1 a couple of days ago.

Got mine yesterday from USCC. No 5.1

I did but phone is a couple of months old now. Assuming they are no longer bothering with 5.01 and updating directly to 5.1.

Try removing your sim and rebooting the phone. Check for update after it restarts. Worked for me today.
