New Nexus 7

I just bought a 32gb Nexus 7 and its a little bit sluggish compared to my Nexus phone, i was wondering if there was anyway in which you can make the tablet faster without Rooting?

update to android 4.2.1. thats the first step.

I've downloaded 4.2.1 but it still seems to run slow, Thanks for your help though

Go to your app drawer, tap google currents, tap the 3 dot menu, tap settings and turn off the auto syncing function. That for whatever reason has caused mass UI lag ever since the 4.2 update. I'd reboot afterwords but most people notice a difference right away.
