New Nooks since the 2 week backorder

If I buy a Nook Color tomorrow at Walmart will it be able to "root". I've read so much on this my head is spinning. Don't want one just for a reader.

you should be able to. just follow the instructions listed in the How To Root. make shure you pick up at least a 4 gig micro sd card if you don't have one already.

yes you should be able to root. i bought mine yesterday and have successfully rooted it.

I have not heard of any reports of any Nooks that can not be rooted
