Hi all. Just made the switch from iphone to the note 9. I have tried samsung before but never got passed 2 weeks before changing back and the below reasons are usually why. So looking for some assistance in getting it all sorted.
To preface this, for some reason I am also astounded at the lack of 'sync' support from outlook and native mac OS, which also might be contributing, but here goes.
I have all my contacts currently on Icloud synced between my laptop (mac) and my iphone. I have tried in many different ways (the most obvious was to import contacts into the outlook app on my macbook pro) to keep my contacts synced in outlook and my OSX contacts file, but for the life of my I am struggling.
Move to the new phone, I have in the contacts settings options to use 'soooo many' different locations, that I am doubling up and contacts and just not being efficient.
So I guess my 1 question is this, Is there a way that I can have 1 master set of contacts that I can use, that easily syncs with the note 9 and outlook on my laptop? When I say easily syncs, I mean that if I save a contact in my 'master contact file' and it has an email, I can go into outlook, type said email and it will appear without having to save it specifically into the outlook contacts file on my Note 9?
any and all suggestions and referrals to literature would be amazing.
Thanks
