New nougat feature help

[AC Question]

Hi guys

There's something that is closing my apps when I don't use them

Unfortunately it's shopping my WhatsApp messages coming through until I open the app again

There is an icon in the top of my screen that's like 3 quarters of a circle with a + in the centre

Does anyone know how to turn it off?

The icon you ask about is called Data Saver. On my Nexus 6P I have an icon in Quick Settings that will allow me to toggle that but you might need to look within the main settings app on your device to find it.
