I can't make my mind up. I like the stock like software of the Oneplus but prefer the hardware of the S8 Plus.

Also the camera on the S8 is if a far higher quality and it allows Netflix to play in HD which the 5T doesn't. The 5T does have the better face unlock which is awesomely fast + I like the shortcuts you can set up on the home key etc. No water resistance on the 5T though.

I just can't decide, help please!

Having owned OnePlus 3T and the OnePlus 5, I'm now using an S8+ and the only thing I miss from the OnePlus phones is dual SIM. I also got my S8+ from a nice deal where it was only about 20€ more than the OnePlus 5T brand new, and with IP68 and a camera that's actually good it was a no-brainer for me.

I too am thinking about buying the 5T. It is a very solid phone. I'd say if you would be willing to sacrifice water resistance and Netflix HD viewing, then go for the 5T. It has a gorgeous screen, its close-to-stock OS is great, and yes, I too have heard (and seen, in reviews) that the 5T's face unlock is awesome.

The S9+ is just around the corner. So I would actually wait for it if the budget allows it. Otherwise the OP5T is a great choice. Also I hear that the Netflix HD issue is going to get sorted out soon. So IPX rating and camera are the two main compromises you are making. However, stock Android, face unlock, 8GB RAM are great positives.

Good luck with your search.
