New Optimus LG Zone 3 has white sort of screen asking for a code of some sor

The phone is brand-new when you first start it up it has a white secure screen that says secure startup now I've gotten it to the display IMEI page for the serial number and IMEI that's as far as I can go I do not know the code it came with

When you say secure startup, are you saying it's asking for a password, PIN, etc? A truly new phone should not be asking for that, and jump to the setup/activation wizard. If it is asking for you to input any sort of password or whatever just to get started, then it's most likely a used phone. One that wasn't properly reset at that. Your option in this case is either return/exchange it, or try to get the prior login info (which isn't likely to be available).
