New OTA update improvements

After todays upadate my browser and touch screen are running much much more smooth! I am loving this tablet. I have owned an ipad2 since launch and my initial impression with my new prime seemed a bit sluggish in comparison but this update has changed that. I cant freaking wait for ICS and my keyboard dock!

Also that issue with the touchscreen where you have to click a few times to close open apps is now resolved!

Have any of you noticed any other improvements to the new firmware?

How many update u did? Are there 3 updates? Or 2 updates

I only had to update twice. Once when I opened it day one and the new one today. It is glorious!

I agree with D4rk. because of this post, I ran a check for update. This is my 2nd firmware update since receiving the prime this passed Friday (bestbuy.com ordered wed. night). It does seem to have a better touch response especially from typing this post. There's also a camera firmware update that pops up after rebooting from the main update. Haven't noticed any obvious differences, but I like whats happening here with Asus. They are definitely on the ball with this tablet. ICS will be amazing. Can't say the same for Samsung and my Infuse phone but that's what the dev community is for.

Yeah best buy has the amethyst grey in stock. I had a pre order in for the champagne and they had it on back order till late january. They emailed me and gave me the option to change my pre order to the grey to have it shipped right now. I did and got it in my hands a few days later. Typing on it now!

That's interesting. I'm trying to return one to BB and they won't exchange it telling me they don't carry them anymore. Guess they don't want to deal with it.
