New Phone Sound Problems

So I just got my Fascinate a few days ago and I'm still messing with it. One problem I have is the sound. With the BB Bold 9650 I was able to control the sound levels of all my apps but I can't figure it out for the Fascinate. Is there a way I can normalize the sound levels because I really hate how my AIM messages are SUPER loud while my phone doesn't ring half as loud.

Take a look at Quick Settings (Quick Settings - Android app on AppBrain)

It allows you to easily manage all the different volume levels in the Fascinate.

If you go to the Sound & Display options and in the Ringer Volume section you can control your ringer and notification volumes independently. Just turn the notifications down lower than your ringer.
