I currently have an HTC DNA. I love it. However, there is a line on my account ready for upgrade. I want to go ahead and use it so it will reset. What phone would you get? I have not done any research in several months.

Really depends on you needs and wants, but most phones that recently we're released and are in the near future are pretty good devices. I for one went with the LG G2 as it fit my needs and VZ will most likely not be getting a nexus anytime soon.

It's simple. You have exactly three options: Note 3, G2, or the Nexus 5.
Those are basically your best choices.

If you've been using the DNA, then a logical upgrade would be the HTC One since it's the "heir" to the DNA. If you don't want to stay with HTC then the other really good Android options on Verizon are LG G2 (my preference... that's the one I just upgraded to and LOVE it), Galaxy S4, Note 3, Moto X and then all the Droids (all pretty much the same inside, just vary based on screen size and battery life). Biggest weakness between the Motorola choices and the others is the screen resolution ,which isn't bad at 720p but the others are 1080p). Aside from that it just comes down to which features you like best. Large screen? Small Screen? Stylus? Back buttons? Camera? etc.. I don't think any of them are really a bad choice.

Thanks for the responses. I like HTC, but read they may be in trouble. I really don't want any bigger screen than the DNA. I am off the investigate these.

One thing I like about the G2 is that even though the screen is bigger, the phone is not. With the buttons on the back, they bezel is so small, the actual size of the phone is almost the same as the 4.7-5" screen phones. Feels GREAT in the hand and I can still use it with one hand, and I have short stubby fingers!

I love my S4 and if you want a smaller screen there is the S4 mini

The one Max or the note 3. No expandable storage kills others for me. The s4 is good but aging. DROID Maxx is great for battery life price just dropped to 199 too

I second all the G2 suggestions... 5.2" may sound big but the way it is constructed makes the overall size of the phone not as big as you would think.. See it yourself before deciding and turning it down... If not, the moto X...all the features are very useful and the phone size is around the same as the Droid DNA i think. Really snappy and fast even though it had "last year's specs" it can perform as well as if not better than today's flagships.

A six month old phone aging? I dunno. I traded my gnex for a note 2.to keep unlimited data plan and have decided to stay a model behind for economic reasons. Check swappa for phone sales. The LG looks great

Its not yet released so maybe thats why there hasn't been that much talk... but i've seen many videos about it on youtube and even explanations of the fingerprint sensors and in some android news websites... I believe it may be released early november for Verizon but I think Atnt is the first carrier to get it.
