I'm starting my search to replace my aging LG G4. I picked it in the first place because of the great screen and camera for the time, but also the removable battery and external memory card.
I have had my share of problems with the phone, including two Bootloops. In both cases, I didn't have to worry about my photos or backups because they were safely stored on my CF memory card.
Most phones now seem to have eliminated the external memory card feature, going for 128GB Internal memory instead. However, is it safe to assume that storage is NOT secure if the phone were to brick?
