New Pixel 5. Few questions. Change wifi icon to lines instead of solid. Alarm icon.

I'm new to Pixel 5 from S8.

How do I change wifi icon on top navigation bar from solid to lines?

When I set an alarm on clock app. I am not getting alarm icon on top navigation bar or on my digiclock widget on home screen. I do see an alarm icon on lock screen.

The three icons on the bottom navigation screen to go back,etc:
Is there an app to change these, their positon, etc?

Still the best Pixel to date if you value a more compact form factor.

It's Google's styling to have those solid status bar icon styles. Unless you root, I doubt you can get them to look like they do on Samsung.

There's also no way I know of (without rooting) to rearrange the navigation buttons.

You're setting the alarm using the stock Clock app, right? When you set it, do you see anything if you swipe down the notification panel?

Congratulations on pixel 5 , very solid phone when i had mine.
The pixels are not as customizable as Samsung device with Good lock modules etc...

When I pull down the notification panel the alarm symbol is to the right, next to the WiFi symbol. On the Home Screen it seems to sometimes appear on the top left of the panel but will then disappears when a new message comes through. Is it due to space on the navigation panel? It does show on the Lock Screen.

Congratulations on your new Pixel 5! I have one too and love it!

With regards to the alarm icon, perhaps it will "vanish" due to the more recent notifications being added to your notification tray. When you collect a few different notifications, older ones will no longer appear on the top left of your screen when you are using the device.

With regards to the WiFi icon look, if you long press your homescreen and go to "Wallpaper and Style" you can at least choose a different-looking WiFi icon for your screen.

I have installed nova launcher and I don't see the wallpaper change for wifi symbol. I assume it's due to this launcher which has different wallpaper setups, etc. This is fine.

3rd party launchers don't affect the status bar icons.

When I go to Wallpaper & styles from the main screen, I have chosen a wallpaper from "landscapes".
When I was going through all the setups for the phone, I do remember seeing different icon configurations but I can't find it now.

Yeah, no more options to theme the shape and style of the icons. I miss that.
