3. Flash from hboot

Enjoy!

This Radio will only work on Gingerbread and Froyo Roms based on the MR2

PER CHINGY DO NOT REPOST THIS AT XDA!!!!!

EDIT: I have flashed and running great.....instant 4G lock as well as GPS Lock......Don't know if it is much different then the other latest leak, but they do have different build number.....gonna run it for a few and will follow up here. 12.21Mbps Down and 4.17Mbps Up

Flashing right now. I looked on the post to see if there were any known improvements, but nothing was listed. Oh well, I'm fearless, I'll flash it blindly.

EDIT: Data works fine, pretty average 3G speeds, stepped outside and GPS locked in about 10 seconds, so it looks like business as usual. Maybe it's more efficient? I don't know.

Flashing now.... I like new stuff... lol

EDIT: Finished flashing...4G locks in right at boot, unlike other radios that start in 3G then take time to lock 4G, cell service is about the same, although the service bars drop off for a few seconds here and there but its just the indicator bars, It never shows no service. GPS locked within 3 seconds after opening Google Maps and it was exactly on my location to within 10 meters. All said and done, I think this radio has better GPS and stronger 4G capabilities. Anyone else give it a try?

Too early to tell on battery life.

Yes. To doing it all from the phone, but you need to download it. Rename it.. Move it to the root of your sd card. Then you need to flash in hboot.

Yes, you can download directly to your phone. If you're using the stock browser, the file will be on your SD card in the download directory.

I'm seeing some interesting results. Booted up, got 4g almost instantly, but no data. Phone took about 3 minutes before switching to 3g. Running CM7 RC 1.2. Going to give it a few minutes and see if things settle back down or not.

Ok now I am getting 4g again after a reboot and several more minutes.
