New S-Note Beta Just Released, Action Memo?!? --- Enough recall talk!

Ok enough recall talk. We will all have new phones in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, I will be testing the new S-Note app. I am waiting for it to update right now. From the picture, Action memo looks to be making its come back.

I will post once I see the update on my phone.

So the samsung notes app that came on phone is not the same as s-note app right? Or is that the one that will get the update to test the new one?

Well false alarm I guess. I thought it was going to be the one to replace ours, but it is not even compatible with my phone.

Guess we can talk about the recall some more.

Lol I'll pass on talking bout the recall lol. Kind of got a headache reading that other thread lol. It's all good. That's why I was asking lol cause it ain't compatible with mine either

Went back to look at where I signed up (tab still open) and saw this. Tired so I missed it the first time.

Get the testing versionIf you already have the S Note app installed on your device, you'll get an update with the testing version shortly. If you don't have the S Note app installed, download it on Google Play first, then you'll get an update with the testing version. It can take a few hours for the update to arrive.

Well it shows with my Note 5. Mine had an update there immediately, just updated it.

I'll look at it and see if I see anything..

Version 1.2 of Samsung Notes will be released late September according to a Samsung reply to a review of S Notes in the Galaxy App Store. This is to include action memo again!

I retract my "awesome". As a Beta Tester the inking on the Action Memo is thin and indistinct. If this continues I will have to revert.

PS... I've used three different styli with same result.

I like the new app. You can import your oldMemo, S Note and Action Note data into the new app. New app seems smoother and faster. Well, you can as long as you recently synced the data.

Yeah right now it seems to not be compatible with the Note 7, but more for bringing S-Notes to the non-Note line.
