New S24 how do I remove this icon

How do I get rid of this stupid thing that I keep hitting and it starts talking to me every time I type something? I think I want my S20 back, but it's a work phone and I don't have a choice.

That's the Accessibility button. Go to the system settings, then Accessibility, and turn off anything you may have turned on there.

I moved this from the More Samsung Phones forum to the S24 forum.

Well I see no option to get rid of it or turn it off just wear it is maybe I'll put some black electrical tape over it LOL it's in a really stupid place in my opinion.

Turn it off by removing it from the home screen.

Do you need the Accessibility button in the first place? If not, you can just remove it by going to the "Select Actions" option in the menu you showed, then toggle off the accessibility option that you had previously chosesn.

If you do want the Accessibility button but don't want it always showing up, then you could consider changing to gesture navigation -- that would give you more options for the Accessibility button, including having it fade when not in use.

You can also reset accessibility by going to settings>general management>reset>reset accessibility

This will reset anything you could have changed and not realize

This is a work phone when I got it, that was there,
I didn't put it there.
But it's gone now!
