New S24 won't allow YT to play in the background[Solved]

So I recently upgraded to a new S24 (Android 14, and ONE UI 6.1) and the issue that I am having is Youtube wont play in the background with the screen off any more (yes I pay for youtube premium). I still have my old S22 and it will play videos with the Screen off just fine. I have tried restarting the 24, I have deleted the YT and re installed it, I have signed out and back in, I have gone through all the settings I can think of and they all match the S22 exactly as far as I can tell. The only thing that might be a clue is when i play a YT video on my old S22 even if i pause it it still shows up on the lock screen and allows me to pause it and play ect, But on the s24 its not showing up on the lock screen. Now Youtube Music and Auidble both work like they should and allow me to shut the screen off and they keep playing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i dont know how from the app, but anyway, the samsung browser gives you a gadget and you can lock phone and video still playing,..

Well I finally found the right setting, I am posting this so that maybe some one some day will find it useful. I had to go into the YouTube app (i was thinking that it might not be allowing the background play because i was still signed in on my old device) and happened to find a setting for Background and downloads. (In the App you select the icon that that has your avatar and says 'You' under it, and hit the cog wheel at the top right and its under Video and Audio preferences) and at the very top it says Background Play and it was set to off and i switched to Always on.

Yeah, that was going to be my work around until i found the right menu, but I found it eventually, Thanks for the advice though!
