Hey guys,

So today i decided to return my gs2 phone that i purchased in-store from at&t on 10/4/11 due to some minor issues and got a brand new flawless gs2. Immediately i noticed that this new phone was a lot heavier than my previous one. I thought it was just in my head and didnt bother until i came home tonight and kept wondering if it was heavier or not - and my gf defintely confirmed it was heavier... then it hit me... this new one i had METAL / ALUMINUM cover on the top half instead of the previous phone which was ALL PLASTIC! I gotta say it definitely makes the phone feel more sturdier and looks so much sleeker.

My Infuse is all plastic, but I haven't read anything about an aluminum case on the S2. This would be incredible!

Doubtful.....but lets see pics.....or something.

can we return our s2 and get that new model no hassle from best buy?
i bought it on 10/4 so i have until 11/4 right?

Go to an att store and see if they'll let you compare yours to one in a box.

And as a side note, I ordered mine today(yes, even after the nexus event) and I'll see what it comes with and provide pics if I get a different backing or anything.

I got one last night at the AT&T store and it has a plastic back and a "chromish" trim ring around the front but it doesn't appear to be actual metal.
