Hi

I have really been an iPhone user for the past few years. Last week one of my phones broke and rather than replacing it with another iPhone I bought an S3 LTE.

I use iCloud for my calendar and for my email, rather than change I have managed to get both of them up and running on my S3. I used something called SmoothSync to get the calendar to work.

The handset came with some apps that I am simply not going to use. Examples N.O.V.A. 3, Zinio, Paper Artist, Flipboard and (Apps and Games, Discover, HelpLogin, Music Shop & Updates. I think these are all Vodafone UK stuff). Is there a way I can delete these?

Is there away of syncing notes between IOS and Android devices (S3)?

Is there a way of setting up folders for apps like in IOS?

I found out how to use the split screen but do they talk to each other. Example if I have an open email with an address and maps open, is there a way to quickly get google maps to show the address. Rather than having to type the address into maps?

What other apps should I download and do users recommend?

Are there any shortcuts or things I should know about?

Thanks

Alex

You can set up folders by touching the screen *kinda like to delete apps on iphone if you haven't figured it out yet* so far I havent found a limit to the folder size

You can sync notes and etc between ios and android. Using kies

I have not used the other features like split screen

The only advice I can give you with the phone is that dont root it*kinda like a jaibreak but harder.* its not worth it to some maybe

On the apps I recommend is Netflix, the weather channel, and a anti virus app * it does help* thats about it for tools. For games its up to you

I hoped this helped you out

Flipboard is a great app u can get all ur social media and news in one place. And u can tailor ur news to ur liking. For ring tones ringdroid is a great app but u must have music on ur memory card on internal to use it. Find my DROID is great for if u lose ur phone and its on silent or if it's stolen. Astro file manager to find files stored on phone or Mc. Chrome browser is great every thing syncs from ur computer to ur phone.
