New Samsung Tab S 8.4 pinch and zoom issues? Just bought a Galaxy Tab S 8.4 some issues?

I just bought this tab and have high hopes for it. A few things I notice right away are;
PINCH and zoom in many places doesn't work. Things like Chrome, andriod central app,taptalk, maybe others I can't remember now.

Battery doesn't last as long as I had hoped.
Lolipop 5.02 happened as soon as I set it up. I wonder if I can get a full canadian firmware for 4.4 to see if these things still happen? Has anyone seen these issues or have fixes?
I cleared cache
Factory reset
Same results
Pinch and zoom issue most annoying as I am getting closer to that half century Mark.

Well I figured out the pinch and zoom thing I think at least in the browser. I had to go into strings and select manual to override the Web site settings

No the pinch and zoom still doesn't work in Chrome and others like this app
