So the S22 Ultra Unlocked will be my first 5G phone. I have the Note 10+ 4G Verizon. Can I put that sim card into the S22 Ultra?

Yup...been transferring my same sim card to new phones for years now. Heck I even put it in my old S7 to create a hot spot when I need to download a OS update since AT&T doesn't allow downloading OS updates on their ultra fast fully unlimited data connections for some reason and we don't have broadband where I live yet and I can swap the sim back and forth to each phone without even turning them off and it works.

Thanks guys! I was concerned since there is no clear answer about it when I tried looking it up. :)

If you want to get 5G speeds, you probably need to change the data plan on Verizon.

Yea I was once in that same boat remembering the days of going to the store to buy a new phone and they had to activate it, setup the account, and all that. Now you just unbox it, put your sim in, turn it on, and good-to-go. At least that's how it works for me now.

When I went from S8 Active to S20 Ultra, I couldn't get 5g to work. Changed SIM cards, but nothing. Turns out that since my new phone was unlocked, AT&T didn't know that it was 5g and had to update the records with the new phone's IMEI number.

I still have the same Sim card from my Note9, went to the Note 20 Ultra unlocked on Verizon, and I get 5G + 5G UWB without issue.

However Verizon did sneak in the $30 activation fee when I changed devices.
