New TB - Root 1st or OTA MR2 1st?

Hey guys, finally took the plunge and got the TB (over the Charge and the Revolution). Primary reason - I think this is the most serious device out of the 3 (at the expense of battery life). Now, needless to say I'm preparing to root it once I go through the activation process. What would be a better sequence of events:

a. Root first, then install an MR2-ed ROM?

- or -

b. Install MR2 OTA and then root?

First, the MR2 "OTA" update has not been officially released. Therefore, it is only available by flashing the leaked images onto your device.

I recommend rooting using the MR1 method (as outlined on AndroidCentral and XDA) and then flash the MR2 radio and use a debloated rom (such as FlyWeight)
